Individual Integrative Therapy
This approach flexibly combines different evidence-based skills to treat a person’s unique needs. The specific skills chosen will vary based on the client, as will how and when these skills are introduced. There is no pre-determined length of time in which all mental health skills will be covered. Skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy will be utilized; clients will be provided with handouts to help them learn these skills. Sessions typically occur every 1-2 weeks, but can be spaced further apart depending on client needs.
Individual Manualized Therapy
Manualized treatments are specific interventions that research indicates are helpful for many individuals. In these treatments, skills are introduced in a specific order over the course of a pre-determined length of sessions (often 10-15). These sessions occur weekly or every other week. The client will purchase a manual workbook prior to starting treatment that will allow them to follow along and complete exercises at home between sessions.
The following manualized treatments are available:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for:
Chronic Pain
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia
Generalized Anxiety
Depression
Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Exposure and Ritual Prevention for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (EX-RP)
The Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (Depression and Anxiety)
All sessions take place virtually at this time (Tele-Therapy)
Some clients may be better served by in-person services. If an initial phone assessment determines this to be the case, the individual will be referred to a different provider who is able to provide this type of service.
The State of New York does not currently allow tele-therapy across state lines. All clients must be located in the State of New York at the time of service.
